Every year the Illinois Principal Association recognizes two students from the exiting grade. Students voted on two classmates to represent their homeroom and then the entire faculty voted on the two sixth graders to represent CIS at the IPA recognition dinner. All students received a certificate this morning during our morning meeting. Congratulations to all of our nominees and to our CIS representatives, Anna Hubbard and Cameron Dinga! This quarter we brought back the coveted attendance trophies. Today we recognized the homeroom classes with the least amount of attendance marks from excused absences, unexcused absences and tardiness. These homerooms will proudly display their trophy until we reassess and recognize the homerooms with the most improved attendance. Congratulations to the following winners: 4th Grade - Mrs. Gooden 5th Grade - Ms. Waters 6th Grade - Mr. Peterson
