Skylah Fourez and Rosalie Balmforth will represent CJHS at the ILMEA State Music Conference this week. On Friday, they will present a Saturday concert in Peoria with the best 5th-12th grade musicians in the state. We are so proud of them and wish them well!

For tryouts, please arrive 15 minutes early to get check in. Make sure your daughter is registered on 8to18 (should be up soon) and have her physical turned into the office prior to tryout day.
Open gym and tryout will be held at the high school Aux Gym. Drive to the back off the high school and enter the Performing Arts Doors.

All 4 of our 8th Grade Cheerleaders have been honored as ICCA 8th Grade Scholar Athletes! These girls maintained a minimum GPA of 4.5 or higher while competing in cheer. Congratulations, Lily Helminski, Adyson Ahner, Avery Shasteen & Myner Smith.
Carterville Junior Cheer Team has done it again! They took 1st place at state today. Congratulations!!

CJHS had a great day at our Christmas assembly, playing Bingo, and watching movies! We also drew names for students for our quarterly PBIS prizes. Great job to all the students for hitting the goal! We hope everyone enjoys their holiday season!
