Happy 100th Day!
This week we wrapped up our 21 Day Reading Habit Challenge. Over 400 students participated each week in building new reading habits! On Monday we celebrated with free books!
Thank you Mr. Webb and Mr. Clark for joining our morning announcements this week. Our students loved hearing about your favorite books and reading habits. We appreciate you giving us your time!

Beginning Monday, January 11th classes at Tri-C will be completing the 21 Day Reading Habits Challenge. For the next 21 days, students will be encouraged to develop habits to become life-long readers. Each week students will reflect upon their habits and be able to earn small prizes throughout. On February 1st, we will celebrate with a new book, special reading activity, and a chance to win a Kindle Fire tablet. We are so excited for this opportunity!

Tri-C Elementary teachers took time this morning to learn more about our 21 Day Reading Habit Challenge as we kickoff 2021 in January. Mrs. Tester presented a plan to encourage students to develop habits to become life-long readers. Stay tuned for more details!
Thank you Tri-C community for your overwhelming support of our pajama drive. We were able to supply DCFS with several boxes of donated pajamas, books, and blankets for children in need. #carterville5

The district has two great donation drives going on right now. Toys for Tots Toy Drive runs through December 14th and our New Pajama Drive for DCFS ends this Friday. All items can be delivered to school offices. Thank you for helping those in need this holiday season. #carterville5

All buildings will be holding a pajama drive for kids in need this holiday season. Drop off any donations at all school offices! Thank you school counselors and secretaries for organizing the pajama drive.
